The Role
We are seeking a Business Head of Insurance with 9+ years of experience to own this vertical from the ground up. You will define the roadmap, manage P&L, and lead strategic partnerships, ensuring our insurance products maintain the "dignity-forward" positioning that defines the CreditMitra brand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Vertical Ownership: Define the end-to-end strategy and product roadmap for the insurance vertical for 2026 and beyond.
- Strategic Partnerships: Secure and manage high-level relationships with RBI-backed NBFCs and insurance providers to offer exclusive, transparent products.
- B2B Outreach: Partner with HR Directors and Finance Managers at Tier 1 companies to offer CreditMitra insurance as a corporate financial benefit.
- Team Building and Thought Leadership: Build and lead a team of geographical and functional leads & Serve as a subject matter expert for Insurance and help draft whitepapers and leadership articles
- Revenue Growth: Take full responsibility for the insurance P&L, scaling the vertical across geographies
- Compliance Management: Ensure all offerings align with IRDAI/RBI guidelines and our internal "human-over-corporate" quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
- 9+ years of experience in the insurance or fintech sectors, with a history of scaling new business units.
- Deep understanding of the Indian insurance landscape and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional B2B negotiation skills and the ability to build "trust-first" corporate relationships.
A "dignity-first" leadership style, framing insurance as an act of planning and self-sufficiency.
