Admin/Accounting Assistant - Hybrid in DC
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a non-profit in DC that is focused on providing food to those in need.
- Due to a project, they are hiring a temporary Admin/Accounting Assistant to work hybrid (3 in, 2 out). Laptop is provided.
- Schedule: M-F, 9a-5p
- Duration: approx. 2 months
- Pay: $25-27/hr
Overview of the Admin/Accounting Assistant role:
- Open and scan finance mail and distribute to the appropriate team member
- Coordinate logistics for on-site meetings (catering, table/chair arrangements, admitting visitors, AC support, take notes on action items, etc.)
- Calendar management for finance leadership
- Schedule meetings with outside parties
- Take minutes during meetings
- Assist with entering invoices (AP) and getting approvals
Preferred Qualifications for the Admin/Accounting Assistant:
- 3+ years of administrative experience
- Experience with Chrome River is a plus
- MS Office experience is must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
