Interaction Designer

Our FI client is looking for a Product Designer to join their team on a longterm contract.

This will be 12+ months, fulltime hours per week, and onsite 3-4x per week in Downtown Toronto. The rate range is $55-60 per hour, t4 .

What you'll be doing:

• The Designer, while working on a team, will help design and structure the UX and UI for the mobile and web applications of an Investment project.
• Synthesizing data by analyzing such things as existing research, user metrics, advisor feedback
• Creating & testing design concepts through peer & cross-functional partner collaboration
• Using an existing core design system to create modern, minimal web and mobile experiences
• Proactively supports colleagues and prioritizes team success over individual recognition

We ask that you have:

• Experience creating intuitive, mobile-first experiences by eliminating non-essentials, prioritizing task completion, and delivering information progressively to reduce cognitive load
• Ability to take on end-to-end initiatives from brief to completion
• Comfortable working on multiple projects
• Comfortable presenting your work to larger audiences

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
