Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile Digital Production Designer to create, optimize, and deliver high-quality visual assets across web, mobile, email, social, and print channels. You will bridge design and developmentproducing pixel-perfect UI, motion graphics, videos, and production-ready files while ensuring accessibility, performance, and adherence to brand guidelines. The ideal candidate is hands-on with modern design tools, comfortable with front-end technologies, and experienced in managing digital assets and CMS workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Produce and export production-ready digital assets (PNG, SVG, WebP, MP4, GIF) for web, mobile, email and social channels while maintaining visual fidelity and optimized performance.

Design and iterate UI components, responsive layouts, and interaction details in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar tools, and collaborate with product teams to translate designs into working interfaces.

Create motion graphics, animated UI elements, and short-form videos using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for product features, marketing, and social content.

Develop prototypes, wireframes and storyboards to communicate interaction flows, animations and user journeys for stakeholders and engineering teams.

Prepare files for print and prepress when requiredcreating InDesign layouts, ensuring correct dielines, color profiles, and asset specifications.

Implement and test front-end deliverables using HTML, CSS (including SASS/LESS), and JavaScript to validate responsive behavior and cross-browser compatibility.

Optimize imagery and media for performance and accessibility, including compression, responsive image sets, proper formats and lazy-loading strategies.

Maintain and organize digital asset libraries and brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application of typography, color, and visual standards across projects.

Collaborate closely with developers using version control (GIT), design systems and component libraries to ensure seamless handoffs and accurate implementation.

Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and are tested across assistive technologies, devices and browsers.

Manage CMS (WordPress) content templates and assets, and support content editors with production-ready files and guidance.

Estimate production timelines, prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments, and work with project managers to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in digital production, motion design, UI/UX or related roles (portfolio required).

Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud: After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro for motion and print production.

Strong proficiency in Figma, Sketch and/or Adobe XD for UI design, prototyping and collaboration.

Solid front-end skills: HTML, CSS (including SASS/LESS) and JavaScript to create and validate responsive interfaces.

Experience with responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility testing and asset optimization for web performance.

Practical knowledge of UI/UX processes: wireframing, prototyping, information architecture, typography and color theory.

Motion graphics and video editing experience, including storyboarding and animating UI micro-interactions.

Familiarity with CMS workflows (WordPress), digital asset management and version control using GIT.

Understanding of print production and prepress requirements for occasional print deliverables.

Working knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) best practices and techniques to create inclusive designs.

Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple production requests in a deadline-driven environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with designers, developers, product managers and stakeholders.
