About This Opportunity
This Software Engineer will operate within Alternative Asset Technology domain, which delivers the platforms and data capabilities that support a diverse set of private market strategies across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, credit, and other illiquid assets. These investments are central to the Fund’s long-term performance and require specialized technology solutions to support complex deal structures, portfolio analytics, and operational workflows.
As a Software Engineer, you will participate in the design, build, test and support of value-add technology solutions and products. You will also work in close partnership with business and technology teams and will acquire sufficient understanding of business and technology to apply critical thought to business and technology requests.
Accountabilities & Qualifications:

- Participate in the design, build, test and support of technology solutions or enhancements to enable business capabilities, in an Agile environment that includes business and T&D partner teams.
- Apply an understanding of engineering best practices and participate in continuous improvement across the team.
- Build an understanding of the technical landscape and the business capabilities it supports and apply critical thought to business requests
- Demonstrate agility and innovation by participating in experimentation and solicitation of early feedback ensuring responsiveness to evolving business needs.
- Participate with colleagues to help frame and think deeply about problems identifying options
- Contribute to root cause analysis of operational incidents impacting the products supported by the team
- Adhere to Agile SDLC and execute related duties as required.
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners, peer IT teams and vendor partners
Core Qualifications (Education and Experience)
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science).
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with various programming languages (Python, C++, Java, etc.)
- Familiarity with software development concepts, including version control, testing methodologies, and agile development practices
- Ability to write clean, readable, and well-documented code, while paying attention to details and adhering to coding standards
