Position: Pioneer Sales Agronomist Role

Location: Buffalo Narrows

Drive sales growth as a Pioneer Sales Agronomist, collaborating closely with the Pioneer Territory Manager in your assigned territory. Focus on customer retention through expert agronomic leadership and support.

In this role, you will work directly with Pioneer Agents and farmers to meet sales targets while enhancing the grower experience. This position is pivotal in converting agronomic insights into actionable commercial outcomes, requiring strong relationship-building and effective sales execution skills. Your contributions will ensure the success of local agronomy trials and education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-farm sales calls with agents and customers
  • Coach agents in building customer relationships
  • Troubleshoot and resolve grower concerns
  • Lead agronomy trials for local grower education
  • Transform agronomic data into actionable recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field
  • 5-7 years of agronomy or sales experience
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Strong knowledge of crop production systems
  • Proven skills in selling and negotiation
