Job Description
Join Cornerstone OnDemand's Total Rewards team as a highly skilled Senior Compensation Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will directly report to the Manager of Compensation and play a key part in the development, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs designed to meet the needs of the business while ensuring compliance, competitiveness, equity, and scalability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning and execution of the annual compensation cycle, including bonus payouts, market benchmarking, pay analyses, and related programs.
- Overseeing compensation processes with an emphasis on data integrity, accuracy, reporting quality, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners as a trusted advisor on compensation matters, providing substantial analysis and guidance on offers, pay decisions, and policy alignment.
- Conducting in-depth compensation analysis and modeling to support program design, pay recommendations, and market competitiveness.
- Leading participation in compensation surveys, such as Radford and Comptryx, and performing extensive market benchmarking to ensure competitive pay ranges and structures.
- Executing financial modeling and cost analysis for current and proposed total rewards programs and initiatives.
- Creating and improving compensation tools, dashboards, templates, and reports, translating data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Ensuring all compensation practices align with applicable laws and regulations while upholding robust data security and privacy standards.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation, with a strong grasp of compensation principles, practices, and compliance requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in working with large datasets.
- Excellent analytical judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work punctually.
- A demonstrated track record of independently owning outcomes, effectively prioritizing tasks, navigating ambiguity, and providing clear, actionable recommendations to Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and business stakeholders.

- Experience with global compensation within the technology sector.
- Familiarity with job architecture and the development of job families.
- Certification as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP).
- A familiarity with Microsoft Access and/or SQL, or a willingness to learn.
