Production Associate 2 Welder

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $17.75 per hour

1st Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm M-F

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units

· Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications

· Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards

· Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques

· Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process

· Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality inspections /audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern

· Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO)

· Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency

· Work in other areas where required.

:

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift

· Strong attention to detail and quality

· Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tape

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

· Be able to recognize material by shape and color

· Capable of using computerized equipment

· Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in various positions

· Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex

· Must be able to use a tape measure.
