Position: Electrician 442A / industrial mechanic millwright
Shift: Day Shift
Rate: $40+ - competitive rate for the right candidate
Location: North Perth
Duration: Fulltime, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a 5-person maintenance team supporting a feed mill operation.
- Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Support PLC-controlled equipment and automated production processes.
- Manage maintenance schedules and work orders through a computerized maintenance system.
- Drive safety, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A/309A) with strong Millwright experience; Dual Ticket (433A & 442A/309A) preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
- Working knowledge of PLCs and industrial controls.
- Strong leadership, communication, and computer skills.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing technical training and development.
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North Perth, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
