Deliveries/Installations, Customer Service, Summer Position

Job Description

Minimum Requirements

• Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract
• Good knowledge of Ottawa/for deliveries, and comfortable driving panel van (ie. Ford Transit)
• Some physical lifting required (50-100 lbs)
• Time management and organizational skills
• Good customer service/communication skills
• Good mechanical aptitude/familiar with use of hand tools

Job Responsibilities

• Monday to Friday, 9-4:00 (Summer position/start/end dates flexible)
• Deliveries and Installations in Ottawa and surrounding area (ie. hospital beds, raised toilet seats, etc)
• Tests function of equipment installed, instructs clients on use and care of products
• Assist with labour/ramp/stairglide installations as required
• Covering tasks of others as they are on holiday (ie. 2 weeks on daily delivery duties)
• Other duties may include filing of invoices, tidying up retail showroom, helping with outside lawn/maintenance and cleaning
• Other tasks as required

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
