This Engineering position can be filled at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer levels. See qualifications below for each level.

Expected Salary Range:

  • Entry-Level - $87,000
  • Mid-Level - $92,700 - $114,000
  • Senior Level - $122,400 - $154,000

Salary ranges are annual and vary depending on experience and qualifications, along with a full benefits package that includes bonuses and 401k contributions.

Primary Purpose of Position

To perform engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations while under direct supervision.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Ensure all engineering products comply with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Carry out assigned engineering and technical tasks efficiently.
  • Support engineering work functions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management or in accordance with company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and support during outages, which may involve assignments outside the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Entry Level E01 Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear).
  • Ability to meet minimum access or unescorted requirements and successfully pass medical examinations or testing relevant to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-Level E02 Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with at least 2 years of nuclear or relevant engineering experience.
  • Ability to meet minimum access or unescorted requirements and successfully pass medical examinations or testing relevant to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with a minimum of 5 years of nuclear or relevant engineering experience.
  • Ability to meet minimum access or unescorted requirements and successfully pass medical examinations or testing relevant to the position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA), including model development and risk-informed applications.
