Job Description

Company Description

At v Care Denmark, we are redefining how chronic diseases are managed through intelligent, data-driven healthcare solutions. We are building Cordia, a next-generation Health Management Platform that empowers clinicians and patients to manage chronic conditions like diabetes through real-time monitoring, structured data, and actionable insights.

This is not just another backend role — it is a strategic engineering position at the heart of a system that directly impacts patient outcomes. Apply if you’re excited by the idea of writing code that truly matters, solving complex data challenges, and shaping the future of digital health.

Role Description

This is a backend-focused role where you will design, build, and operate production-grade systems on AWS, working on real features end-to-end—from understanding product requirements and architecting data models to developing robust APIs and ensuring their reliability in live environments. You’ll collaborate closely with web (Angular) and mobile (Flutter) teams to deliver seamless, high-impact features that directly reach users. We’re looking for a high-performing engineer with strong Python expertise, a solid grasp of AWS, and the confidence to independently debug, troubleshoot, and solve complex problems.

If you enjoy owning your work, building systems that scale, and seeing your code make a tangible difference, you’ll find this role both challenging and deeply rewarding.

What You’ll Do

Build backend services using Python (AWS Lambda, Fast API-style architecture) Design and evolve data models in Postgre SQL (RDS) using Alembic migrations Build and maintain REST and Graph QL APIs Work with Dynamo DB and Postgre SQL for data storage Collaborate with Angular (web) and Flutter (mobile) teams Deploy services using Git Hub Actions CI/CD pipelines Write and maintain tests (pytest) with Docker-based local environments Build backend support for notifications (email, SMS, push)

Work with AWS Bedrock / LLMs for generating reports and insights

Production Ownership (Important)

Debug issues using Cloud Watch and application logs Investigate failures in Lambda, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and database queries

Resolve issues independently and ensure system reliability

You should be comfortable figuring things out in a live system without constant guidance
