Position Overview

As an Internal Communications Lead, you will be a storyteller, a connector, and an exceptional communicator. In a remote-hybrid office culture, it’s crucial that our team of 800+ across 40+ states stays connected.

We are looking for an internal communications rockstar to ensure that the right information reaches everyone, connections between people and departments are being made, and that all of us are aligned to what’s important.

Your role will involve telling the ezCater story to employees through various channels, sharing company priorities, product roadmaps, and connecting people to our culture. We want you to challenge and improve our messaging, creating an internal narrative that resonates with our team.

What You’ll Do

• Report to our Director, Communications and Content, and work closely with various stakeholders across the business.
• Develop and lead internal communication initiatives to keep the organization informed and connected during rapid growth.
• Manage an internal communications editorial calendar, aligning messages about ezCater’s business strategy and culture.
• Determine key messages and the best timing and channels to communicate them (company meetings, email, Slack, events, Confluence).
• Create innovative communication methods that inform and motivate employees, experimenting with new channels and content.
• Build strong relationships across departments to discover and share inspiring stories that engage the ezCater team.

What You Have

• 7+ years of communications experience, preferably leading internal communications for remote or hybrid companies.
• Ability to translate business goals into a compelling communications strategy rooted in our business and culture.
• Excellent communication skills in written, visual, and verbal formats.
• Experience working with senior leaders, showing confidence to challenge and guide their messages.
• Agility to thrive in an ever-changing environment, managing multiple tasks with exceptional organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team gatherings and events.

Salary and Benefits

The national total target cash compensation range for this position, including base salary and bonus target, is $129,000–$164,000 annually. Final offer amounts will depend on multiple factors, including experience and region.
