Digital Marketing Manager (Performance & Growth)
CMDS is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager (Performance & Growth) to support and execute strategy across paid media, SEO, organic social, email marketing, performance reporting, and emerging AI-driven search channels for our clients, our agency, and our CEO’s personal brand.
This is a performance-driven, cross-channel role. We are looking for someone who understands how digital marketing efforts work together across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels to drive traffic, leads, pipeline, and revenue for B2B organizations.
About You
The CMDS Digital Marketing Manager approaches each day with a performance mindset, adapting to client and campaign needs. This person is comfortable working across multiple channels, analyzing performance data, and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
You think in systems not silos and understand how paid media, SEO, organic social, email marketing, and website performance connect to drive measurable business outcomes.
While this is not a pure content role, the ability to think strategically about content as a driver of performance is essential.
You are hands-on, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow your expertise across digital marketing, with a strong focus on results and the ability to clearly communicate performance insights.
How This Role Fits Within the Team
This role works closely with:
- A dedicated Paid Search & SEO Specialist
- An Account Manager who owns client communication and relationships
You will collaborate across the team to ensure strategy alignment, performance execution, and clear reporting while contributing cross-channel insights and recommendations.
This is not a solo execution role. It is a collaborative, performance-focused position responsible for connecting efforts across channels.
Expanded Channel Scope
This role spans multiple digital marketing channels and requires a holistic, performance-driven approach. You will contribute to strategy, execution, and performance across:
- Paid Media (Paid Social & Paid Search)
- Organic Search (SEO)
- Organic Social (strategy and implementation, with a focus on B2B platforms such as LinkedIn)
- Email Marketing (campaign planning, segmentation, and performance tracking)
- Emerging AI-driven discovery channels, including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
Success in this role requires the ability to understand how these channels work together to drive traffic, lead generation, pipeline, and revenue.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- 5+ years of professional experience in digital marketing (paid media, SEO, or growth marketing roles)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing funnels and how channels contribute to pipeline and revenue
Channel Experience:
- Experience supporting and executing paid social, paid search, and SEO strategies
- Experience with organic social strategy and execution (LinkedIn preferred)
- Familiarity with email marketing strategy and performance optimization
- Understanding of how content, distribution, and paid media work together
Platform Knowledge:
- Meta Ads
- LinkedIn Ads
- Google Ads
SEO Fundamentals:
- Keyword research
- On-page optimization
- Content optimization
- Understanding of search rankings
Tools:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Meta Ads Manager
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Familiarity with SEO and reporting tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Looker Studio) preferred
Performance & Analytics:
- Strong understanding of KPIs such as CTR, CPC, conversions, lead volume, traffic, and ROI
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Additional Capabilities:
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced agency environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities Include
- Support the development and execution of cross-channel digital marketing strategies
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Collaborate with the Paid Search & SEO Specialist to support strategy, analysis, and optimization of paid search and SEO initiatives
- Own the strategy and execution of organic social initiatives (primarily LinkedIn for B2B clients)
- Support planning and performance of email marketing campaigns, including segmentation and messaging
- Contribute to improving brand visibility across traditional search and AI-driven discovery platforms (GEO)
- Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities across channels
- Assist in managing paid media budgets and pacing
- Track and report on performance across paid media, SEO, organic social, and email marketing
- Prepare monthly and campaign-specific performance reports
- Analyze results to identify trends and support strategic recommendations
- Support the Account Manager in preparing and delivering clear, performance-driven insights to clients
- Help translate data into clear explanations of what happened, why it happened, and what should happen next
- Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices
Positioning & Expectations
This role is responsible for connecting performance across channels ensuring that paid media, SEO, organic social, and email marketing are aligned and working together to drive measurable business outcomes.
This role requires a holistic understanding of digital marketing. Candidates who specialize in only one channel (e.g., only paid media or only content/social) will not be a fit.
Work Environment
- 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday)
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Fast-paced, performance-driven agency environment

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
