About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's human capital strategy. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader and change agent, responsible for directing the company's overall HR functions in alignment with its mission and values. This includes talent acquisition and development, employee relations, policy, classification, compensation, organizational development, and HRIS.

The role demands a modern executive who can reposition HR as a driver for building organizational capacity, leading the modernization of HR processes, and positioning the function as a proactive, enterprise-wide partner. The VP/CHRO will be a key member of the senior leadership team, providing expert advice on all HR matters and leading a large team to implement best-in-class HR initiatives across the organization. Applicants for the VP/CHRO position at the company should have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' of senior-level HR leadership experience, with a master's degree and HR certification being highly desirable.

While experience in a similar mission-driven organization is required, a background in higher education is valued but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of positioning HR as a lever for organizational effectiveness and cultural stewardship, and must possess the judgment, credibility, and relational skills necessary to lead in a highly collaborative environment. The role is particularly suited to individuals with a forward-looking, strategic mindset, and a strong bias for action, who can demonstrate adaptability and learning agility in a complex, values-driven academic setting.
