Job Description

As an Azure Cloud Engineer at Concordant One Tech, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud-based architectures. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day operational support for a production Azure environment, monitoring infrastructure health, handling incidents and alerts, and collaborating with senior architects and security teams. Here are the key responsibilities you will be taking on:

  • Day-to-day operational support for a production Azure environment.
  • Monitoring, incident resolution, configuration changes, security enforcement, backups, and DR support.
  • Collaborating with senior architects and security teams.
  • Monitoring Azure infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.
  • Handling daily incidents, alerts, and service requests related to Azure resources.
  • Performing routine configuration changes, scaling, patching, and upgrades.
  • Troubleshooting networking, compute, storage, and identity issues.
  • Supporting Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Kubernetes Service, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Redis Cache, Front Door, and Traffic Manager.
  • Managing Azure AD users, groups, roles, RBAC, Key Vault, firewall rules, NSGs, and Azure DDoS Protection configurations.
  • Monitoring and managing Azure Backup jobs, Azure Site Recovery, and ensuring backup and DR SLAs are met.
  • Supporting Azure networking components like VNets, subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, and Azure ExpressRoute.
  • Reviewing alerts, logs, and dashboards to proactively identify issues, monitoring costs, providing operational metrics and reports, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications required for this role include proficiency in Azure, infrastructure management, Linux systems, databases, software development processes, and the ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred, and certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert would be a plus.
