With a combination of industry-leading tools, services, and expertise, only Black Duck helps organizations maximize security and quality in DevSecOps and throughout the software development life cycle.</p> <p><strong><u>Key Requirements:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Total years of work experience: <strong>5+ years.</strong></li> <li>Proficiency in programming languages, primarily <strong>Java Advantage.</strong></li> <li>Strong experience in Database - PostgreSQL - Performance optimization, Scaling</li> <li>Experience with <strong>Java, Typescript and Golang (Must).</strong></li> <li>Experience with Distributed Microservices Architecture.</li> <li>Experience with different Service Communication technologies (Messaging queue-based communication Kafka/RabbitMQ).</li> <li>Experience with Security in Microservices Architecture and knowledge of common authentication protocols and implement and maintain security measures to protect the application and user data from unauthorized access.</li> <li>Familiarity with various authorization models, Role-Based Access Control.</li> <li>Experience with web development frameworks and Services (GRPC, RESTful).</li> <li>RDBMS (PostgreSQL) databases experience and design persistence layer for Microservices using ORMs.</li> <li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including a background in Cloud infrastructure &amp; Services (network, cloud storage-related solutions, IAM, Cloud function, etc.).</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software that meets business requirements and maintains high performance in production environments.</li> <li>Contribute to the design and development of cloud-native applications using Golang, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.</li> <li>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a small team of engineers, guiding them through best practices and technical challenges.</li> <li>Conduct code reviews and perform thorough testing to identify and resolve issues.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define technical solutions and deliverables.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Black Duck considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender preference, national origin, age, disability, or status as a Covered Veteran in accordance with federal law.
