SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead end-to-end instructional design using a structured methodology (e.g., ADDIE / SAM): needs analysis, learning objectives, design strategy, development, implementation support, and evaluation

• Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to translate needs into effective learning solutions and manage reviews/feedback to deliver on scope and success measures
• Design and develop learning assets across formats, including Synthesia AI microlearning videos (scripting, production, and iteration), digital modules, instructor-led session materials, and job aids
• Edit and produce video assets (cuts, captions, audio cleanup, transitions, and branding templates) using common video editing tools to create polished, learner-ready microlearning
• Measure and improve learning effectiveness by defining evaluation approaches (e.g., knowledge checks, performance measures), analyzing learner data, and iterating designs
• Create workflow-based enablement and reinforcement assets (realistic scenarios, practice activities, prompts, job aids, and communities-of-practice materials) that support application of AI skills in the flow of work
• Design for a global audience by creating localization-ready content (plain language, consistent terminology, accessible templates) and supporting translation/localization workflows

• Ensure quality, accessibility, and consistency by applying learning standards and inclusive design practices (e.g., WCAG), testing content, and improving based on feedback
• Leverage AI responsibly in the design workflow to accelerate ideation, scripting, and asset creation—while reflecting enterprise expectations around privacy, risk, accessibility, brand, validation, and responsible use, and keeping the human learner experience at the center

Must-have Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in learning experience design / instructional design (enterprise environment preferred)
• Demonstrated expertise in instructional design (analysis, learning objectives, storyboarding, assessment design) across multiple modalities; ability to share a portfolio or work samples
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and GenAI productivity tools; ability to translate responsible AI principles into practical learner behaviors, examples, and prompts

MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

• Strong instructional design expertise (5+ years)
• Proven end-to-end experience designing enterprise learning using structured methodologies (e.g., ADDIE/SAM), from needs analysis through evaluation.
• Hands-on content creation across modalities
• Ability to quickly move from learning need to storyboard to learner-ready assets such as microlearning videos, digital modules, job aids, decks, and reinforcement materials.
• Working knowledge of AI and GenAI tools
• Understanding of AI concepts and generative AI productivity tools, with the ability to translate responsible AI principles into practical, enterprise-ready learning content.
• Proficiency with learning design and video tools
• Strong experience with tools such as Synthesia (or similar AI video tools) and eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise/Storyline), plus basic video editing skills.
• Stakeholder and SME partnership skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs and enterprise stakeholders, manage feedback cycles, communicate design rationale, and deliver on scope and outcomes.

SOFT SKILLS:

1.) Strong communication skills

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Experience with LMS/LXP platforms

Publishing content, managing metadata/tags, and basic troubleshooting.

• Background in adult learning theory or UX/LXD

Education or experience in adult learning, behavioral science, learning experience design, or UX/content design.

• Learning analytics and data visualization experience

Ability to use learner data and tools (e.g., Power BI) to evaluate learning effectiveness and drive improvements.

• Graphic, visual, or advanced production skills

Experience with tools like PowerPoint, Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or advanced video editing beyond Synthesia.

• Global content and localization experience

Familiarity supporting translation/localization workflows and designing accessible, localization-ready content for global audiences.
