Job Summary
The Sr Manager, Business Operations Analysis role serves as a key partner to the Xumo Content Acquisition & Enterprise teams, leveraging data, reporting, and financial analysis to support programming and business operations. The position is responsible for developing and automating critical reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and providing actionable insights into new and amended deals and their impact on financial performance. This role is highly visible to senior finance and business leadership.Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role conducts detailed analysis of contractual and operational data, audits reporting processes, and evaluates how business activities flow through to the P&L. The position owns continuous improvement through enhanced reporting tools, streamlined processes, and effective use of technology and analytics.

- The ideal candidate combines a strong accounting or finance foundation with technical reporting and analytical expertise.
- This individual is a proactive, self-motivated problem solver who can independently identify opportunities, make sound business decisions, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams through change while supporting the organization's financial and operational objectives.
- Position is office based in Philadelphia, PA, 4 days/week & 1 day remote
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the creation of advanced operational and strategic reports to guide managerial decision-making
- Leading the development and refinement of reporting tools for enhanced business analysis and insights
- Taking responsibility, as needed, for comprehensive audits to ensure data accuracy and support continuous improvement in data management
- Guiding the analysis of operational data to uncover trends and recommend improvements for business optimization
- Facilitating the integration of budgetary and performance data to inform financial planning and strategic adjustments
- Mentoring team members in analytical techniques to foster a culture of data-driven decision support
- Championing feedback mechanisms on system performance, advocating for technological advancements to meet evolving business needs
- Steering the consolidation of data sources to fortify the analytical framework for key business decisions
- Developing objectives based on management data analysis to enhance business decisions and operational performance
- Focusing on streamlining business processes to resonate with the strategic direction of the function
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
