Interiors Services & Specialty Products Contracts has an opportunity for a Manager, Contracts to join a high‑performing team of experienced Contracts professionals supporting our Services & Support business.

The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial aerospace aftermarket contracting experience - particularly with airlines and airframe manufacturers - and will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to producing clean and professional documentation, and a consistent ability to follow established processes and standards. This individual will be an adaptable, collaborative team member with excellent soft skills, strong organizational discipline, and a genuine eagerness to learn. The successful candidate will contribute positively to a well-functioning team environment and is able to navigate a fast-moving ecosystem with evolving digital tools and competing priorities.

This role can be performed remotely, in a hybrid arrangement, or onsite at one of our U.S. locations. The team primarily operates on Eastern Time, and some flexibility is needed to support business priorities.

What You Will Do:

  • Represent the organization on contractual matters and provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all contracting activities comply with corporate policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of complex commercial contracts.
  • Review customer RFPs, assess requirements and terms, support proposal development, and coordinate internal approvals.
  • Identify contractual and business risks and recommend clear, practical mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with program management and develop an understanding of relevant products, services, and technical considerations.
  • Deliver strategic analysis and recommendations to support business and contractual decisions.
  • Prepare accurate, complete, and professionally formatted documentation for negotiations and contractual records.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready contract files in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying complexity while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Support business travel up to 10%.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Commercial contracts experience in a manufacturing environment

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Contracts aerospace experience supporting airlines, airframe manufacturers, and aftermarket programs or services
  • U.S. Government contract experience
  • Experience working with FAR and DFARS

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
