Responsibilities
What is your role?
We're looking for a Junior to Intermediate Motion Designer/UGC Video Editor who thrives at creating high-performing social content. This role is ideal for someone who loves bringing ideas to life through video, has strong graphic design fundamentals, and is especially passionate about UGC-style ad creative. You'll work closely with our directors, account managers, creative strategists + designers, and clients to produce compelling content that drives results for a diverse roster of brands.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit UGC-style video advertisements for paid social platforms including Meta, TikTok,
YouTube, and other emerging channels.
- Create motion graphics, animated assets, and visual effects that enhance creative
performance and storytelling.
- Design supporting graphic assets including typography treatments, overlays, statics,
thumbnails, and visual elements for video content.
- Collaborate closely with creative strategists to understand campaign objectives and
execute against creative briefs.
- Interpret scripts, concepts, and creative direction into polished, performance-driven
video assets.
- Review footage, select strong moments, and structure narratives that maximize
engagement and retention.
- Maintain brand consistency while adapting creative to platform-specific best
practices.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and contribute new ideas, editing techniques,
and visual approaches.
- Incorporate feedback efficiently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Stay current with trends in social media, UGC advertising, motion design, and video
editing.
- Organize project files and maintain efficient workflows throughout production.
What we're looking for
- 2–4 years of experience in video editing, motion design, graphic design, or a related
creative role preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UGC editing, motion design, and graphic design work.
Portfolio required to be considered.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency
environment.
- Experience creating content for social media advertising and direct-response
marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Figma and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, and retention-focused editing
techniques.
- Strong graphic design skills with the ability to support static ad development, create
compelling visual concepts, and develop graphic-led motion assets, GIF-style
animations, and visual storytelling elements that enhance creative performance.
- Understanding of platform-specific creative best practices across Meta, TikTok, and
YouTube.
- Ability to receive and implement feedback while maintaining a positive and
collaborative attitude.
- Passion for social media, creative testing, and performance-driven creative.
Bonus
- Strong graphic design fundamentals including typography, layout, composition, and
visual hierarchy.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative, design, and video production tools. Comfortable
exploring and implementing AI-driven workflows that improve production efficiency,
accelerate ideation, and support the creation of high-performing creative assets.
- Experience working within a DTC eCommerce environment is considered an asset.
