We are seeking a Front End Developer (Node.js, React, TypeScript) with deep expertise across backend and frontend software development.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain robust web applications using Next Js, typescript and React Js to ensure seamless user experience.

AWS knowledge is nice to have

• Collaborate with design teams to implement responsive web design principles for optimal performance across devices.
• Utilize TypeScript and Node JS to build scalable and efficient server-side applications.
• Implement CSS 3.0 and SASS for styling and layout, ensuring consistency and visual appeal.
• Conduct thorough testing using React Testing Library to guarantee application reliability and functionality.
• Integrate Eslint for code quality assurance and adherence to best practices.
• Manage version control and collaboration using GITHUB to streamline development processes.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, enhancing user satisfaction.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and team performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in Asset & Wealth Management domain.
• Work in a hybrid model, balancing remote and in-office work to maintain productivity and team collaboration.

What you need to have to be considered:

• Possess strong expertise in GITHUB, React Js, and Next Js, essential for modern web development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in TypeScript and Node JS, crucial for building scalable applications.
• Have experience in Responsive Web Design and CSS 3.0, important for creating visually appealing interfaces.
• Show familiarity with React Testing Library and Eslint, beneficial for maintaining code quality.
• Experience in retirement/Asset & Wealth Management domain is a plus, providing valuable industry insights.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $57K – $108K (CAD) depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
