Position Summary:

The Driver Training Program of the Company accepts and educates novices who have had no prior experience. These Driver Associates will be taught and mentored, undertaking regular driver responsibilities to obtain the required know-how, pursuing a career in licensed driving.

The proper operation of a commercial motor vehicle requires a high level of skill and knowledge

Utilize Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) like electric pallet jacks and hand trucks for your warehouse operations

Working with heavy machinery in congested environments can be an intricate and challenging task that requires high levels of precision and skill

Deliver merchandise to our valued clients using various modes of transportation as required

In multi-temperature settings, different techniques can be utilized including manual conveyors, pallets, or carts

To ensure that both customers and store personnel are satisfied, it is crucial to go above and beyond in your interactions with them

Proper paperwork completion is crucial for the effective delivery and pick up services

Collect any products that have been brought back according to the procedure

The collection of company assets, including payments, pallets, and carts, must be initiated.

Before every trip, drivers must examine the vehicle's engine, brakes, tires, mirrors, lights, and other components to ensure that they are functioning correctly

Attend company-provided training sessions and get certified as per the guidelines

Maintaining regular contact with your shift supervisor, dispatch, and co-workers is critical to prevent miscommunications or delays that can cause disruptions in the workflow

You should have a strong grasp of the software programs and tools required for the job. This may include both specialized software and more generalized tools like Microsoft Office:

No one younger than 21 years of age is permitted

Must have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) of Class A or similar military experience related to driving

In accordance with the guidelines set by the DOT, it is imperative to have and uphold a driving record that meets the required standards

Candidates must demonstrate an ability to regularly pick up and move objects with a weight ranging from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs

Candidates who are offered the job must pass a comprehensive background check, DOT Physical, and drug test
