Job Description — Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune) Engineer with strong troubleshooting capabilities across Windows, Android, and device provisioning environments. The role involves device lifecycle management, application deployment, Autopilot provisioning, co-management migration (SCCM → Intune), and enterprise mobility support.

Key Responsibilities

Device Management & Co-Management

Manage and support SCCM to Intune migrations

Implement and troubleshoot co-management workloads

Configure workload ownership (Windows Update, Compliance, Apps, etc.)

Handle hybrid Azure AD join and Entra ID joined devices

Investigate patching issues after workload transition to Intune

Windows Update & Patching

Configure and manage Update Rings

Troubleshoot devices not receiving cumulative updates

Diagnose update conflicts between SCCM and Intune

Ensure compliance and patch posture across enterprise fleet

Windows Autopilot Provisioning

Deploy and manage Windows Autopilot

Understand Autopilot OOBE workflow and ESP phase

Support Autopilot 2.0 provisioning and pre-deployment patching

Diagnose Autopilot identification failures

Work with Device Directory Services (DDS) and hardware hash registration

Mobile Device Management (Android & iOS)

Enroll and manage Android Enterprise devices (BYOD & Corporate)

Troubleshoot work profile creation failures

Handle enrollment restrictions and licensing issues

Use tools like Test DPC for compatibility debugging

Diagnose device compatibility vs configuration issues

Application Deployment (Win32)

Package and deploy Win32 applications via Intune

Configure detection rules and requirements

Troubleshoot installation failures using IME logs

Identify network, firewall, or download stage failures

Manage application lifecycle across enterprise endpoints
