Your focus will span operations, security, and integration of hardware and software.</p> <ul> <li class="font_5 wixui-rich-text__text">Research and resolve operating system problems efficiently and accurately in adherence to organizational standards</li> <li class="font_5 wixui-rich-text__text">Troubleshoot operating system issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams including application development and networking</li> <li class="font_5 wixui-rich-text__text">Build and harden Windows servers, establish and manage configuration baselines</li> <li class="font_5 wixui-rich-text__text">Plan, test, install, integrate, and maintain new or updated operating systems</li> <li class="font_5 wixui-rich-text__text">Apply security and firmware patches promptly; assist in maintaining patch management strategies</li> <li class="font_5 wixui-rich-text__text">Test and integrate new hardware and software components</li> <li class="font_5 wixui-rich-text__text">Manage the lifecycle of operating systems</li> <li class="font_5 wixui-rich-text__text">Design interfaces to external systems and maintain thorough documentation on system configurations and processes</li> </ul> <h2>Required Skills</h2> <ul> <li>7+ years of relevant experience with Windows systems</li> <li>Experience with complex system architectures and interconnected data environments</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and Centrify for domain management</li> <li>Experience and proficiency applying security patches within enterprise systems</li> <li>Experience scripting in PowerShell, VB, or similar tools</li> <li>Experience and ability to manage environments running Windows Server 2008/2012/2016</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Access Control Service (ACS)</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, and antivirus solutions including Symantec and McAfee</li> <li>TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph</li> </ul> <h2>Desired Skills</h2> <ul> <li>Familiarity with LAN, SAN, TCP/IP, and Cisco network configurations</li> <li>MCSE or MCITP certifications</li> <li>Experience with VMware 5+ and a VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) credential</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </section>
