I’m Hiring a Backend Engineer (Top 10% Only)

Location : Bangalore (In office)

Experience : 2–6 Years

I run ClearStack. We build serious, scalable systems for global clients. We move fast. We ship often. We fix what breaks. No politics. No passengers. Our primary stack is Ruby on Rails . However, I care more about strong backend fundamentals than specific frameworks. If you’re strong in TypeScript (Node), Python, or another backend stack — and can learn Rails quickly — that’s enough.

This role is for engineers who think.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design backend systems that scale
• Build clean, well-structured APIs
• Design proper database models (PostgreSQL)
• Debug real production issues
• Own features end-to-end
• Participate in architecture discussions

WHAT YOU WILL NOT DO

• Hide behind tickets
• Ship careless code
• Avoid responsibility

YOU’LL FIT IF

• You understand SQL beyond basic CRUD
• You think about performance and trade-offs
• You write tests because reliability matters
• You’ve shipped real systems to production
• You can explain your technical decisions clearly
• You learn new stacks fast

If you need constant supervision or detailed hand-holding, this role isn’t for you.
