You will own and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy, leveraging data and creativity to find top-tier talent across the country at core schools. The Role The Campus Recruiter role is your opportunity to serve as the face of Clark Construction on campus. This is an opportunity for a high-performing recruitment professional to take the role and truly make it their own; there is a significant runway for someone with experience to lead the charge, take ownership of our flagship university partnerships, and drive the strategic direction of our entry-level pipeline. You will gain invaluable insights across our core operations, including stakeholder management and brand development, while acting as a strategic architect for our next generation of talent. Responsibilities Portfolio Ownership & Collaborative Leadership Drive long-term partnership strategies across your portfolio of schools, taking personal accountability for building deep-rooted relationships with academic leadership and key campus influencers. Foster a culture of collaboration by bridging the gap between our business needs and campus reality, empowering hiring teams with data-backed strategies to secure top-tier talent. Lead with ownership by partnering with operations to execute a unified campus presence, ensuring our recruitment efforts are a seamless reflection of Clark’s mission and values. Strategic Pipeline & Candidate Experience Drive early identification initiatives to build a robust future funnel, leveraging creative sourcing and data-driven advertising to reach underclassmen and niche student groups. Ensure a frictionless candidate journey by managing end-to-end recruitment execution with precision, focusing on proactive communication and a "candidate-first" engagement model. Cultivate an active talent ecosystem by engaging with a variety of candidates through campus networking and industry events, effectively representing the Clark value proposition at every touchpoint. Strategic Execution & Local Partnership Orchestrate high-impact campus experiences and site visits through a consistent physical presence at core campuses and local offices, building deep-rooted partnerships that identify elite talent early in their academic career. Own the full-cycle candidate experience from the first handshake to the final offer, ensuring a seamless, proactive journey that reflects our core values of ownership, accountability, and collaborative partnership. Drive operational excellence and process evolution by leveraging data-driven insights to refine recruitment strategies, eliminate bottlenecks, and deliver high-impact results that define "The Clark Way.” Required Qualifications 3+ years of full-lifecycle campus recruitment experience, demonstrating a proven track record of identifying and securing high-potential talent in a competitive market. Mastery of stakeholder management, with the ability to build high-trust partnerships across all internal leadership levels and external talent pools. Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, specifically leveraging recruitment metrics, conversion rates, and ROI to optimize pipeline performance. Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to represent the brand with authority. Proactive and agile mindset, characterized by total integrity, discretion, and the ability to pivot strategies successfully in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and the flexibility to travel up to 50% during peak recruitment seasons to maintain a high-visibility campus presence. Preferred Qualifications Campus recruitment experience in competitive industries such as Accounting, Finance, Technology, Consulting, etc. Experience with Handshake, Workday and Google Suite Additional Information Success in this role requires strong relationships and influence over the teams of Clark employees who engage on each campus to accomplish the goals of the business. This is an in-office position with 50% travel required; please note this is not a hybrid or remote position as at Clark we have a culture of working in person, together as teams. This role reports directly to Clark’s National Campus Recruiting Director and will have support of additional team members within the HR team. The work environment and requirements described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The Physical Side of the Role: This is an active, hands-on role. You can expect to be on your feet frequently, navigating active job sites with uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. The work is physically demanding and requires a full range of motion, including bending, kneeling, and reaching. You’ll need to be comfortable frequently lifting and carrying materials up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively, as well as visual acuity for reading plans and inspecting work. The role does include desk time in the office that may require prolonged periods of sitting for tasks like computer work, document review, and meetings. Your Work Environment: You’ll spend a significant amount of your time on active construction sites, which means being adaptable to all kinds of weather and moderate to loud noise levels, and comfortable in elevated or confined work areas with moving mechanical equipment and with the fast-paced nature of a project in progress. You will also spend time in a typical office setting with moderate noise levels.
