Position Purpose:
The Technical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the technology experience at Civista Bank. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues, ensuring effective patch management, providing exceptional help desk support, and facilitating equipment installations. Your work will help drive Civista Bank's mission to improve the financial lives of our employees and shareholders, ultimately benefiting the communities we serve.
Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Respond professionally and efficiently to help desk requests made via phone or the 1Source system.
- Perform daily installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Bank hardware and software.
- Deliver IT support across various lines of business, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Provide ongoing support for major bank initiatives, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual support visits to all physical Bank office locations, scheduling localized IT support as required.
- Fulfill other duties as necessary to support the key accountabilities of the position.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- 1 to 5 years of experience in computer operations and networking.
- Associate's Degree in Management Information Systems or Information Technology is a plus.
- A+ certification is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Experience with mobile device operating systems such as Apple iOS and Android.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
- This position may involve eye strain due to extended use of computer monitors and reading reports.
- Work typically requires sitting for prolonged periods.
- Concentration on tasks is essential, even in distracting environments.
- You should be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility in work hours is necessary; may require working weekends or after-hours for system upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.
- Travel may be required for branch visits, training sessions, and meetings.
