Elevate the quality of primary care as a Quality Improvement Decision Support Specialist Clerk in Northern Ontario. This in-person role offers a chance to work on health data management and digital health projects.
Join the expanding Quality Improvement Decision Support Specialist Program and contribute significantly to Family Health Teams across Northeastern Ontario. You will collaborate closely with the QIDSS Lead, engaging in data collection, enhancement, and reporting to support quality initiatives. This position focuses on maximizing digital health tools and streamlining workflows to ensure effective patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize data from EMR systems
- Develop tools to enhance data usability
- Create user-friendly reports for evaluation purposes
- Support eReferral onboarding and training
- Monitor adoption metrics and troubleshoot issues
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree required
- Experience in health administration or informatics is an asset
- Familiarity with digital health tools preferred
- Understanding of primary care approaches
- Ability to travel to remote locations
