Elementary/Montessori Teacher in Private School

The Position

The Children’s Montessori & Preparatory School is a small private school with an exceptional learning atmosphere where students feel valued and motivated to learn. Our educational programs are prepared to meet the individual needs of each child, guided by the principles of Montessori education and the Ontario curriculum.

Qualifications

• You have several years experience teaching in a classroom.
• You are exceptionally organized and detail oriented.
• You are proficient with technology, specifically Google platforms.
• You excel in creating innovative, engaging, and hands-on lesson plans, with strong writing skills.
• You are knowledgeable about the Ontario Curriculum and have experience in this area.
• You have a passion for learning and thrive in a collaborative and supportive professional environment.
• You share our commitment to making a positive impact in children's lives.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday - plus additional school community functions (staff meetings, school picnics, graduations, concerts/performances, etc.)
• Daily schedule runs from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with school day from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (required)
• Bachelors of Education (Junior Qualification preferred )

Experience

• Elementary teaching : +1- 2 years (preferred)
