About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Junior PHP Developer with 4 - 6 years of hands-on expertise in CodeIgniter 3, and Laravel to join our onsite team in Faridabad. You will lead backend development for scalable web applications, REST APIs, and production systems while mentoring juniors and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role offers opportunities to architect robust systems and drive high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Core PHP & Laravel or codeigniter
• Build and manage REST APIs
• Handle third-party API integrations (payment gateway, external services)
• Write clean, optimized, and scalable backend logic
• Work with MySQL database, MongoDB (queries, joins, optimization)
• Debug and resolve backend issues

Mandatory Technical SkillsCodeIgniter 3 (Expert Level):

• MVC routing, controllers, models, libraries, query builder.
• REST APIs, cron jobs, custom libraries, hooks.

Laravel (Expert Level):

• Routing, controllers, Eloquent ORM, migrations, seeders.
• Middleware, authentication, API validation, resource responses.

Database (MySQL)or MongoDB:

• Complex joins, query optimization, indexing, transactions.

Security:

• SQL injection prevention, XSS/CSRF protection, bcrypt hashing, input validation.

Good to Have

• Git version control, Postman for API testing.
• Redis, queue systems (RabbitMQ/Laravel Queues).
• Payment gateway integration, Linux server commands.

Soft Skills & Qualification

• Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, attention to detail.
• Strong team collaboration and communication.
• Bachelors in Computer Science/IT (preferred) or equivalent 6 -8 years experience.
