Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert (SME)
***This position requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance***
Cherokee Preting is seeking a fully cleared Telecommunications SME to support our Client in Northern Virginia. The Telecommunications SME will have a Full Scope Poly at time of application and will be charged with supporting finance, personnel management and training.

Telecommunications SME Responsibilities Include
- Coordinate with client planners, programmers, and technicians (organic or contractors) to ensure scheduled work is integrated into the overall program.
- Capture results of these discussions, to include known risks, issues, and recommended courses of action to the client due within required amount of time as specified by end users.
- Manage issues through resolution and document finalized outcomes
- Develop and manage a Communications Plan that fully integrates client elements into the design and construction phases of the program.
- Ensure the client stakeholders are apprised of changes in the communications approach or issues that present a risk to the U.S.
- Design, test and implement new commutation techniques per client guidance
Telecommunications SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities Requested
- Preferred to have twenty (20) or more years of relevant experience.
- Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- Must have an active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph level clearance at time of application.
- Must have experience with the Client and their systems
- Must have experience with cable writing.
- Must have experience providing Telecommunications SME responsible for program support activities including finance and personnel management, governance, and training.
- Experience at developing program specific spending plans, which are constantly analyzed and refined using near real time proprietary financial databases.
- Able to serve as a liaison to other groups within the organization, identify and document leading practices of regulatory compliance making sure critical programmatic documents, workflow patterns, personnel information, and financial records are maintained for continuity purposes in accordance with existing SOPs.
- Must have good communication (written and oral) skills to perform briefings and complete required reports

- Travel Coordination and Reporting
- Coordination with Students and Training Officials
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
