AM Server

An opportunity to work as a breakfast server at Vista 18 has become available. We are looking for someone to work three to five shifts a week.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders accurately in POS system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Prepare final bill ensuring its accuracy, present check to guest, enter and accept correct payment, process credit/debit/gift card charges accurately or make change if applicable.
• Accurately complete server cash-out at the end of service shift.
• Following established procedures and policies when completing tasks.
• Be an Ambassador for the Chateau Victoria Hotel & Suites and Vista 18.
• Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Serving it Right certificate
• Proven cash handling experience
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills and professionalism
• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven communications skills and ability to work positively in a team environment and respond well to direction.
• Ability to complete shifts that include frequent standing, walking, bending and lifting.
• Previous food and beverage service experience necessary.
