Job Location Chakan, Pune
Qualification & Experience:
- He should be Graduate Engineer Preferably Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial/Production.
- Experience 7-12 years in PPC (preferably Transformer manufacturing) + Exposer to Manufacturing/Industrial development.
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and proactive professional to lead our Industrial Engineering & Process Improvement Function. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on experience in Industrial Improvements, Capacity Calculation, gap analysis, Productivity Projects identification & Implementation , Process improvement and cross-functional coordination within manufacturing environments. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, systematic approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage Improvement in process or SQCD effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify & Prepare Industrial Improvement and Process improvements Plan to meet the growth target in alignment with manufacturing and quality standards.
- Takt Time and Cycle time study of various manufacturing processes and suggest and implement improvement /productivity improvements idea in manufacturing area.
- Accountable /Owner of end-to-end planning and execution of improvements starting from idea generation/Validation/ROI Calculation/RFQ/ Technical negotiation & finalization /Erection & commissioning where ever necessary.
- Drives Productivity Improvement projects along with manufacturing/Quality/Design team to meet opex productivity target.
- Identification of process gap and improvement /validation / standardization of Production/Quality process in the Plant.
- Owner & accountable of tracking all improvement ideas identified in 5S/Kaizen /VSM/Lean drive till results realization.
- Facilitate change control ∧ implementation of engineering changes in collaboration with CFT Teams.
- Support digital tool implementations (e.g., smart Project tracking software) and lead MIS/reporting for Industrial KPIs.
- Drive Safety /Quality/Cost /Delivery speed up and improvement projects, tracking, follow up and financial validation with Division finance Head.
- Owner of all kinds of Improvement / Process improvements in Plant partnering with EHS /Manufacturing/Quality/Design/Finance.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Core Functional: Industrial Engineering , Process Improvement, Capacity Utilization.
- Tools/ERP: Oracle cloud exposure is added advantage.
- Soft Skills: Analytical Thinking, Stakeholder Management, Team Leadership, Communication, Problem Solving, Time Management, Lean manufacturing.
- Additional Exposure: A person from transformers background is added advantage.
