Position Description: We are looking for a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer with a strong quality mindset and 4–7 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium or Cypress, Cucumber for BDD, and exposure to AI-powered QA tools to enhance testing productivity and efficiency. The role requires strong analytical skills, automation expertise, and the ability to integrate modern AI-assisted testing approaches into the QA lifecycle.

Your future duties and responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer with a strong quality mindset and 4–7 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium or Cypress, Cucumber for BDD, and exposure to AI-powered QA tools to enhance testing productivity and efficiency. The role requires strong analytical skills, automation expertise, and the ability to integrate modern AI-assisted testing approaches into the QA lifecycle.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium or Cypress.

Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber for automated test scenarios.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.

Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing.

Identify, track, and report defects and quality issues effectively.

Leverage AI-powered QA tools for activities such as test generation, defect prediction, test optimization, and productivity improvements.

Continuously improve test coverage, test data management, and automation efficiency.

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

4–7 years of experience in Software Testing with strong QA fundamentals.

Hands-on experience with Selenium or Cypress automation frameworks.

Experience implementing BDD using Cucumber / Gherkin.

Strong programming knowledge in Python / Java / JavaScript (depending on framework).

Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Experience integrating automation into CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Exposure to AI-enabled QA tools (e.g., test generation, code assistants, intelligent test maintenance).

Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.

Knowledge of performance testing tools or security testing basics.

Experience with cloud-based testing platforms or containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
