Registered Early Childhood Educator-PINEVIEW PUBLIC SCHOOL

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Plan and implement engaging educational activities aligned with early childhood education standards
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through tailored interactions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members regarding progress and needs
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive strategies for children with disabilities or special needs
• Utilize computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes
• Lead classroom routines, manage time efficiently, and ensure adherence to schedules
• Demonstrate leadership in guiding children through daily activities and transitions
• Write detailed observations and reports on children's development for parent updates and program planning

Requirements

• Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator with relevant licensing authorities
• Proven experience working with children in classroom settings or similar environments
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is considered an asset
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in computer operation for documentation and communication purposes
• Strong writing skills for reporting and record keeping
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, classroom management, and child development theories

Benifits UPON HIRE. Vacation 4%, 6% after 6 months. RRSP eligibility After 6 months.

Pay: $28.00-$29.00 per hour
