Job description

CEDA is currently seeking a motivated Labourer to join our Bonnyville team, to support a turnaround project. This is a camp position, candidates must have reliable transportation to get to site.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Assist welders with setup and breakdown of field equipment
Prepare materials for welding (grinding, cleaning, cutting)
Handle, carry, and position steel and other materials
Operate basic hand and power tools
Load and unload trucks with tools and materials
Maintain clean and safe job sites
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Support crew members with general labor tasks as needed

Qualifications

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Willingness to travel to job sites
Basic knowledge of tools and construction equipment preferred
Strong work ethic and punctuality required
Valid Class 5 Drivers license (non GDL) and clean 5 year drivers abstract
Ability to pass pre-employment alcohol and drug testing booked by CEDA

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude
Understanding of welding procedures and structural fabrication processes
You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
