Job Title: Academic Coordinator - Immediate appointment

Location: Green Park Smart School - CBSE, Alagumalai

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Academic Coordinator to drive academic excellence in our CBSE-affiliated school. The role involves curriculum execution, teacher development, digital integration, and student progress tracking while upholding CBSE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development & Implementation: Design and implement grade-wise curriculum maps, smart-class modules, and lesson plans aligned with CBSE curriculum.
  • Faculty Training, Supervision & Development: Conduct regular training on CBSE pedagogies, digital tools, and smart-board usage; supervise classes and mentor teachers for growth.
  • Quality Assurance & Monitoring: Monitor teaching-learning quality through classroom observations and audit of digital content delivery.
  • Class Work Monitoring: Regularly check and audit class work notebooks for concept clarity, correction quality, and syllabus coverage; ensure timely feedback to students and teachers.
  • Test & Exam Timetable Management: Prepare and circulate unit test, periodic test, and term exam timetables; coordinate with subject heads for blueprint, portions, and timely question paper submission.
  • CBSE Methodology, Assessment & Teacher Training: Ensure implementation of competency-based education, art-integrated & experiential learning; train teachers on CBSE assessment patterns and report cards.
  • Student Reach, Progress & Implementation: Track student learning outcomes via ERP, plan remedial & enrichment programs, and ensure data-driven interventions based on test analysis.
  • Institutional Growth & Reputation: Coordinate Olympiads, external exams, parent workshops, and academic events to build school branding.
  • Smart School Initiatives: Digital assessments, and hybrid learning models; ensure effective use of smart-class infrastructure.
  • Academic Planning & Documentation: Prepare academic calendars, class work plans, exam schedules, and maintain CBSE records for inspections.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Analyze test results, CW completion data, and feedback to design timely academic action plans.
  • Leadership & Decision Making: Lead grade-level teams, resolve academic issues, and support management in policy decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with B.Ed mandatory
  • 3-4 years of experience in CBSE curriculum handling, preferably in smart/digital schools
  • Strong leadership and decision-making ability
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, tech proficiency and team-handling skills
