Inventory & Recon Coordinator
Location: Mississauga, ON
About Us
Carnex is one of Canada's fastest-growing used EV dealerships, specializing in Tesla and other electric vehicles. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to support our Inventory Manager and help ensure every vehicle moves efficiently from acquisition to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Inventory Manager with daily inventory operations.
- Enter and maintain accurate vehicle information in our inventory management systems.
- Coordinate all reconditioning (recon) activities, including mechanical repairs, body work, detailing, inspections, and photography.
- Follow up with internal departments and external vendors to ensure recon work is completed on schedule.
- Monitor vehicle status and identify delays before they become problems.
- Ensure vehicles are ready to be listed online as quickly as possible while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate safety inspections, detailing, licensing, and delivery preparation after a vehicle is sold.
- Work closely with the Sales, Service, and Recon teams to ensure vehicles are delivered on time.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to management.
- Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency throughout the inventory and delivery process.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
- Able to prioritize multiple vehicles in different stages of the process.
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Comfortable using computers and dealership software.
- Valid Ontario driver's license is an asset.
