About the Job

My dad is a physically fit 92-year-old man with memory issues. He and my mom live together independently in an apartment. My 90 yr. old mom can no longer be his primary caretaker. While we have excellent care during the days - we need someone to be responsible for our dad at their house in West Springfield, keeping him company in the evenings, helping him undress for bed and be there when he wakes up in the middle of the night - to help him get reoriented and back to bed. He is independent in the bathroom at this time and needs some support getting dressed. Times are from 6 p.m. until 9 a.m. each day. At this time it would be 2 - 3 nights per week; it could transition to full time/live in if interested. Our dad is super sweet and kind. He loves people and needs someone cheerful and kind to help him make the most of his days and nights.
