Visual Merchandiser / Window Dresser

Caposhie, a Canadian women's fashion brand founded in 2015, is seeking a merchandiser/window dresser. Every week we bring something new to our stores, keeping them fresh and new with exciting products that everyone is excited for.

Job Description

In this position, you will use your professional creativity to develop compelling in-store and window merchandise displays. By applying your knowledge of aesthetics and visual strategy, you will assist each store in achieving its seasonal sales goals.

This role challenges you to use your understanding of visual communication to create displays that attract shoppers and promote the Caposhie brand. The position requires the ability to think on your feet, develop merchandise plans quickly, and bring energy and enthusiasm to the stores each day.

Duties & Resposibilities:

• Develop a strong relationship with store managers to ensure sales goals and merchandising are interconnected.
• Assist with opening and receiving new stock to facilitate timely merchandising.
• Develop a store visit schedule to ensure each store is well-merchandised and prepared for successful weekend business.
• Ensure weekly stock arrivals are received and merchandised according to guidelines and direction from the Visual Team Lead, while adapting to each store's specific stock assortment.
• Work with store teams to ensure all new merchandise is steamed in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with store managers and teams to maintain all store standards.
• Update window displays weekly to reflect new arrivals, following guidance from the Visual Team Lead and adhering to all display guidelines.
• Ensure hardware and signage are stored safely and organized.
• Partner with store managers and teams to keep the stockroom tidy and safe.
• Coordinate with store managers and teams to manage backstock effectively and ensure daily re-stocking.
• Regularly remove single items from wall sections and floor racks and move them to the designated single items rack.
• Greet and welcome customers, and assist with customer service as needed.
• Follow the Caposhie Dress Code and act as a brand ambassador.
• Bring a positive attitude, energy, and accountability to the role every day.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
