Role Description This is a commission based role for an Insurance Agent – Personal Lines, based in Washington State. The Insurance Agent will work with individuals and families to assess their personal insurance needs, recommend appropriate coverage options, and explain policy features in clear, accessible language. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients in person or by phone, preparing quotes, processing applications, and handling renewals and policy changes. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, resolving coverage or billing questions, and maintaining accurate client records in the agency’s systems. The Insurance Agent will collaborate with internal team members, stay current on carrier products and underwriting guidelines, and support agency growth through proactive outreach and relationship-building.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales and Personal Lines Insurance, with the ability to match client needs to suitable products.
• Experience or familiarity with Insurance Brokerage environments, including working with multiple carriers and product offerings.
• Basic understanding of Finance concepts relevant to premiums, deductibles, and coverage limits.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and problem resolution.
• Current or eligible state insurance producer license for Personal Lines (or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe).
• Proficiency with standard office software and agency management systems; comfort learning new digital tools.
• Prior experience in an insurance, financial services, or client-facing role is preferred but not required.

Additional Information:

Compensation is structured around commission and sales bonuses. There are no sales goals!
