Job Description

The Microsoft App Platform MAP team is responsible for enabling the public cloud to become a preferred platform across IT. This is a global multidiscipline team responsible for architecting and delivering secure, robust and innovative solutions which would enable the development teams to build and deploy new applications as well as migrate selected existing applications into the public cloud.

We are presently looking for an experienced Azure and Power Platform DevOps Engineer to join our Microsoft App Platform MAP squad. The candidate should be familiar with various cloud concepts, services and tools with a focus on application migration and integration.

The candidate will be involved in multiple aspects of the team's work including evaluation of new cloud products and services and integrating them into standard bank cloud solutions.

Skills Required

• Experience with migrating and deploying applications to Azure Power Platform and Dynamics365.
• Experience with Power Platform D365 and Azure cloud architecture design and application integration refactoring to work with public cloud.
• Expert knowledge on infrastructure as code languages such as Terraform.
• Expert scripting skills e.g. PowerShell Python.
• Experience designing systems to scale in an enterprise environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, ability to work closely with multidiscipline teams, business partners and sponsors.
• Strong sense of operational ownership and ability to drive engineering and development initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global organization and across time zones.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively both written and orally to diverse audiences.

• Dynamics365 or Power Platform Training Certification.
• Automating setup of new Power Platform Dynamics365 environments.
• Power Platform Security model and access provision.
• Power Platform Encryption Key management CMK.
• Power Platform Data Loss Prevention policies and connectors.
• Data verse Management.
• Terraform.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience with working within an agile DevOps environment.
• Experience setting up and using CI/CD pipelines especially with Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of cloud security products.
• System administration skills on Linux or Windows platforms.
• Knowledge awareness and contributor to open source projects.
• Appreciation of legal and regulatory compliance controls required to move data into a cloud service, preferably from the finance sector.
• Experience working with regulatory compliance and litigation groups within the Financial Industry.
• Large Scale Migration Tooling Automation Process experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to think strategically.
• Ability to switch between strategy and detail.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is CAD$87K/Yr. to CAD$107K/Yr.
