Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repairs. Your energetic approach will ensure a seamless experience for clients while coordinating with technicians to deliver high-quality automotive service. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
  • Explain repair estimates, service options, and recommended maintenance clearly and transparently
  • Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
  • Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs and vehicle requirements
  • Manage service writing, auto estimating, and documentation accurately within dealership systems
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, tire service, suspension work, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, auto body repair, and other automotive services

Experience

  • Dealership experience or automotive service management background preferred
  • Proven success in upselling automotive services and parts
  • Hands-on mechanic or service technician experience highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures
  • Customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • Experience with auto estimating software and service writing processes
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and automobile sales processes
