Job Description
Title: Project Assistant, Financially Assisted Social Prescribing (FASP)
Employee Working Location: Partially Virtual / Hybrid (Ancaster/Hamilton)
Employment Status: Temporary Full-time (4 Months)

The Project Assistant, FASP provides administrative support, assisting with daily operations and contributing to service delivery. This role ensures smooth workflows, supports team functions, and enhances service delivery to clients and stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Support with overall email and event coordination which could include support with presentations, agendas, minutes, action/decision logs, attendee lists, and calendar invitations.
- Support project team members with tasks relevant to achieving their deliverables.
- Update and maintain the document and folder structure and information sharing process, supporting file administration and database maintenance.
- Create and review promotional materials and communications, ensuring public materials are provided in both English and French, as required, using appropriate vendors and/or translation services.
- Maintain trackers, uploading reports, reviewing discrepancies and working with the team on achieving deliverables.
What we are looking for:
- A post-secondary school education and a minimum of two years’ experience in a project/program support role or similar job-related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge and ability in using business support processes and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, databases and/or other tracking systems).
- Superior organizational skills and keen attention to details and timelines are essential.
- Resilience and adaptability to changing circumstances and an evolving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines/turnaround times.
- Strong relationship building and customer service skills, demonstrated attention to client objectives and quality assurance.
- Fluency in English is required, working proficiency in French an asset.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to coordinate a variety of event variables.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
- Much of the work is performed in an office/hybrid work environment.
- May include long to moderate hours sitting and using computers and office equipment.
- This position may require travel to attend conferences, workshops and meetings as required.
