  • *In this role, you will**:
  • Ensure that client services objectives and targets are met, monitor program delivery to ensure high performance standards and quality control.
  • Assist in developing annual action plans for the client services team.
  • Oversee the receiving, processing and tracking of client service requests, meeting Red Cross standards for timeliness and quality.
  • Liaise with Talent Acquisition, Shared Services and Volunteer Engagement Experience regarding volunteer requirements necessary to achieve program objectives.
  • Develop and implement volunteer retention and engagement activities.
  • Select, supervise, and coach Lead Client Service volunteers in their role as volunteer supervisors.
  • Contribute to and recommends modifications to systems designed to streamline, better secure or otherwise improve service delivery.
  • Track financial and equipment donations and initiate corrective action when required.
  • *What we are looking for**:
  • The minimum qualifications for this position are the completion of a two (2) year post-secondary diploma with a concentration in rehabilitation sciences, social services, business, and a minimum of two years of experience in volunteer management in a service-oriented capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative approach to finding solutions.
  • Ability to influence and lead others.
  • Proven customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and experience working in health programs is an asset.
  • Experience working with a diverse population, and an understanding of cultural issues is an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required, and fluency in another language is an asset.
  • *Working conditions**:
  • Frequent travel around the lower mainland region.
  • Valid Provincial Class 5 driver’s licence.
  • Current First Aid Certification, or willingness to take training.
  • Some work will be conducted during non-traditional work hours, (Saturdays).
  • If you are selected for this role, you will be required to complete a successful pre-employment screening process which includes a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC).
