THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE:
Reporting to the Head of Communications, Brand and PR, the Brand and Creative Content Manager will play a key role in delivering Save the Children’s (SCC) brand and creative content to scale revenue, influence, and impact for children. This role will enhance SCC’s brand identity, ensure consistency and relevance across channels, and lead the creation of high-quality, insight-driven and emotionally compelling content. The Brand and Creative Content Manager will foster innovation, inspire our audiences, and help build a movement of millions for children.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Drive the implementation of a brand strategy and content strategy that aligns with Save the Children’s purpose, values, and ambition, championing a cohesive and compelling way to tell our brand story that drives impact.
- Lead the creation and distribution of high-quality, emotionally engaging, and insight-driven content – with storytelling at its heart – that enhances our Integrated Marketing Framework, Advocacy, Fundraising and bolsters Save the Children’s reputation.
- Ensure brand remains at the core of all creative content by maintaining a consistent tone of voice and visual identity, and by developing and managing branding tools and guidelines that deliver a distinct, consistent, and motivating experience across all platforms and audiences.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical content collection and adherence to consent processes and image guidelines, thereby protecting the dignity and rights of all individuals featured in Save the Children’s marketing and communications.
- Lead the strategic development and approach of content including video to drive audience engagement, fundraising and brand equity.
- Support internal interest-holders and partners to embed and promote the brand positioning and architecture across all channels, and encourage integration across audiences and campaigns where appropriate to drive up awareness, familarity and hard preference.
- Manage and work with sensitive business, market, and organizational risk information with a high degree of discretion and tact, ensuring informed, strategic brand and content decisions that protect and enhance the organization’s reputation.
- Monitor and analyze brand and content effectiveness through data-driven insights, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of strategies to achieve maximum reach and impact.
- Lead a strong and committed Brand and Creative community across our organization, promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and collaboration to support our strategic goals.
Qualifications include (but are not limited to):
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 year of relevant experience in International Development, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO/INGO), or other not-for-profit sectors is preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing brand and content strategies that elevate public-facing brand, drive organizational goals and engage interest holders.
- Demonstrated experience crafting compelling, high-quality content across platforms including video to build brand familiarity, trust and fundraising support.
- Skilled in analyzing market trends, audience behaviour, and performance data to inform strategy and adapt to evolving opporunities and pressures.
- Fosters a culture of collaboration and inclusion, leading and influencing cohesive brand experiences across the organization.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills for diverse audiences to build strong working relationships across cultural and organizational settings, both internally and externally. French/Spanish/Arabic language skills is an asset.
- Demonstrated project management experience for task execution of assigned objectives supported by proficiency with MS Office tools and relevant technologies. Ability to work under pressure within tight timelines to achieve SCC objectives.
- Displays analytical and problem-solving skills to support initiatives with demonstrated adaptability to support change management for successful task implementation.
- Applies judgment and make sound decisions that are accountable, justifiable, and in adherence to policies and procedures.
