Job description
The Role
We're looking for a Customer Service Representative who's confident on the phone - both answering incoming calls and making outbound ones. You'll be the voice of Canadian Outlet, helping customers before, during, and after their purchase: answering product questions, resolving order and delivery issues, and following up to make sure every customer walks away happy.
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in solving problems on the first call.
What You'll Do
Inbound calls
- Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally
- Help customers choose the right device and explain product conditions (new vs. open-box vs. Certified Pre-Owned)
- Provide order status, shipping, and delivery updates
- Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty questions
- Troubleshoot basic device and order issues, and escalate when needed
Outbound calls
- Confirm orders and coordinate delivery details
- Follow up on trade-ins, back-in-stock items, and open support tickets
- Call customers back with resolutions and updates
- Request reviews and feedback from satisfied customers
Across the board
- Log every interaction accurately in our order/CRM system
- Coordinate with fulfillment and logistics on shipping and tracking issues
- Keep product and policy knowledge current so you can answer with confidence
- Spot recurring issues and flag them to the team
What We're Looking For
- Excellent spoken and written English with a clear, friendly phone manner
- Comfortable with high-volume phone work - both inbound and outbound
- Solid computer skills and the ability to pick up order management / CRM tools quickly
- Patience, empathy, and a problem-solving mindset
- Reliable, organized, and able to juggle multiple conversations and systems
Nice to have
- Familiarity with consumer electronics (phones, tablets, laptops, wearables)
- Experience with e-commerce platforms or marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart)
- Previous experience supporting North American customers
