MAKING AN IMPACT
Working alongside the broader HR Team to support the development and execution of an integrated talent acquisition strategy, the Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist is accountable for sourcing talent through a variety of channels and delivering an exceptional candidate experience that reflects the CCS brand.
In this role, you’ll help power CCS’s mission by sourcing talent nationwide and engaging with candidates and hiring managers across Canada in both English and French—creating a thoughtful, people‑first experience from coast to coast.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to develop relationships with potential hires as well as internal stakeholders. Ultimately, you will contribute to the creation of a strong talent pipeline for our CCS’s current and future hiring needs.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Full-cycle recruitment for all assigned positions, including advertise, recruit, screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure highly qualified interested candidates are presented to hiring managers.
- Utilize all internal and external resources available to identify and attract strong talent in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
- Develop strategic recruitment plans by assessing requirements in consultation with HR Business Partners and internal business clients; including market evaluation and selection of the most appropriate recruiting tools to source the best candidates.
- Pioneer and contribute to employer branding initiatives, leveraging diverse channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, community partnerships, career events, and targeted outreach to attract and engage top talent.
- Embed a DIBE lens across the recruitment lifecycle, contributing to and leading inclusive hiring practices, projects and continuous improvement strategies that advance equity and belonging.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to address talent gaps and proactively support those gaps.
- Conduct a fair and respectful selection process aligned to our organizational values and policies; ensuring a positive experience for all external and internal parties involved.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand the unique needs of each role. You’ll assess candidates’ skills through interviews and testing to ensure a match between the candidate’s strengths and talents and CCS’s needs.
- Create a positive and engaging candidate experience from start to finish. You’ll be acting as an ambassador for CCS, guiding candidates through the recruitment process, providing feedback, and maintaining strong relationships to keep top talent interested and excited about joining the team.
- Discover and attract the best talent, using innovative sourcing strategies, whether it’s through social media, career events, or networking groups, you’ll be on the lookout for the strongest candidates.
- Ensure that CCS is a diverse and inclusive workplace by conducting a fair, consistent and inclusive recruitment process.
- Generate a talent pipeline, by advancing CCS’s employer brand, to address future business needs.
- Manage the recruitment process from end to end, ensuring a quality hire, meeting timelines and within budget.
- Deliver on established key metrics to ensure talent acquisition goals are met.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our talent acquisition strategy; always striving for continuous improvement and to position CCS as an employer of choice.
- Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A combination of post secondary education and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in recruitment and selection, demonstrating the ability to step in quickly and deliver results.
- Energetic, tech-savvy and results oriented person with a proven track record of delivering full cycle recruitment to address business needs.
- Strong understanding of recruitment and selection best practices, candidate sourcing channels, and networking groups to attract a diverse pipeline of candidates.
- Excellent proactive sourcing skills, using recruitment tools and Boolean search to find and attract key talent.
- Proven track influence others through strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, remains calm under pressure and shifting priorities.
- Must be a team player, who can work collectively with others and work independently.
- Builds strong, thoughtful connections through clear and effective communication across a range of mediums (digital, written, and verbal).
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ATS (e.g., ADP) and HRIS, and Excel are required; familiarity with Copilot is considered a strong asset.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions. Additional language skills are always welcomed and valued, reflecting the diverse communities we serve.
