As the Regional Analytics Team Lead you will serve as the senior manager and technical lead for contractor personnel supporting this critical innovation‑driven team.
The Regional Analytics Team’s focus is to modernize analytic methodologies, integrate advanced data sources, and develop new analytic capabilities that improve operational and strategic decision‑making across DIA and mission partners. In this role, you will guide teams conducting complex quantitative, analytic, and decision‑support tasks, ensuring the development and delivery of high‑quality, mission‑relevant analytic solutions. You will also establish and manage the standards that ensure products meet DIA’s analytic tradecraft standards and effectively support leadership’s operational and planning requirements.
*This position is contingent upon program award.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor contractor personnel supporting DIA, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness across all analytic innovation tasks.
Provide senior‑level expertise in mathematical modeling, simulation, data mining, statistical analysis, machine‑assisted analytics, and quantitative decision support.
Develop, oversee, and execute complex analytical projects independently while providing direction and quality control for team‑generated products.
Manage program efforts to integrate multi‑source data, including structured, unstructured, open‑source, and technical data, into analytic models and decision frameworks.
Design and implement analytic solutions that support operational planning, strategic assessments, and performance evaluation of intelligence processes.
Provide decision‑support products and analytic recommendations to senior leadership, including assessments of alternatives, risk analyses, and operational impact studies.
Establish and optimize intelligence workflows, production processes, and analytic methodologies to improve efficiency and mission effectiveness.
Coordinate team efforts across IC and DoD stakeholders to synchronize analytic modernization efforts, share best practices, and ensure interoperability of analytic tools and methods.
Lead analytic experimentation, prototyping, and the integration of new tools, technologies, and data sources into operational workflows.
Oversee onboarding, readiness, training, and performance management of contractor personnel assigned to the team throughout period of performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
6–12+ years of experience (mid‑ to senior‑level) in quantitative analysis, data science, operations research, intelligence analysis, modeling and simulation, or related analytic domains
Demonstrated expertise in mathematical modeling, simulation, data mining, statistical analysis, and multi‑source data integration
Experience designing or implementing analytic methods to support operational planning, intelligence production, or decision‑support processes
Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary analytic teams conducting complex modeling, quantitative assessments, or innovation‑focused analytical work
Experience independently completing complicated or complex analytic tasks in a national security, DoD, or IC mission environment
Strong understanding of analytic tradecraft, data sourcing, analytic validation, and production standards
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing or reviewing high‑visibility analytic and decision‑support products
Desired:
PMP certification or equivalent project/program management credential
Experience supporting analytic modernization, data science initiatives, or advanced analytic tool integration within the IC or DoD
Familiarity with operations research, decision theory, machine‑learning–based analytics or applied statistical modeling
Experience leading analytic teams through experimentation, prototyping, workflow redesign, or analytic process improvement
Programming or analytic tool proficiency (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, statistical modeling platforms, data visualization tools)
Experience evaluating analytic performance, process optimization, or model verification/validation
